THE VENUE - KAROO 62
Since 2015, the Bubble Run has been taking place every year in the small town of Sabie. For years we’ve wanted to bring it to the Western Cape and finally have found the right venue suitable for The Bubble Run, Karoo 62.
Karoo 62 sits on over 1,000 hectares on a private reserve with over 100kms of dirt routes on the property alone. This allows you plenty of space to explore around without ever having to leave the venue if you wanted.
The venue is centrally located to some of the best tar and off-road routes in the Western Cape and is just off of Route 62.
EVENT SCHEDULE
-
The Bubble Run starts on a Thursday!
For those wanting to leave as a group for Ladismith (4 hour drive), there will be 2 departure points from Cape Town; Stoos Customs and The House of Machines at 8am.If you'd rather go on your own that's not a problem.
It's best to arrive at the venue by 3pm. This will allow plenty of time for you to get to know the property, hang out a bit, grab a drink from the bar and kick back.
Family style dinner will be served around 630pm along with the introductory briefing for the weekends events.
That evening we'll have a House Playlist going after dinner to keep the vibe going late into the night.
-
Breakfast is served at the main restaurant area from 0700-0900.
After breakfast the day is yours to explore the area.
We'll have designated off-road and road based routes for you to choose from. At the Bubble Run we spend the majority of the day out and about exploring around, have lunch somewhere out in the area, and make our way back to camp usually around 3-5pm.
From there, feel free to park the bike, get comfortable and do whatever you want. to for the rest of the day at the venue.
Dinner will be served around 7pm, and the band will get going sometime afterwards.
-
Breakfast is served from 0700-0900 and similar to Friday we'll all head out shortly afterwards for a short day of exploring around.
This is the big day of the Motul Moto Games which will start around 2pm. This is an event you won't want to miss. Participation is all voluntary but we do encourage everyone to get involved. It's a fun one.
Dinner will be served around 7pm and the band will get started shortly afterwards as we party one last night!
