THE ADVENTURE
Embark on an exhilarating journey with 'Roaming Souls,' our inaugural Dual Sport motorcycle adventure featuring the rugged Honda CRF 300L and 300 Rally models.
Starting amidst the untamed beauty of Kruger Park, immerse yourself in the African wilderness with a captivating night in the bush with game drives. Traverse through Swaziland's enchanting dirt roads before venturing south to Mozambique's idyllic Ponta Da Oura for two nights of exploration along the pristine coastline.
From there we’ll continue making our way west along the coastline and conclude the adventure in Tofo, a hidden gem renowned for its untouched beaches and world-class surf spots, making memories to last a lifetime.
THE RIDING
We've shifted our focus from pushing limits to embracing the journey on this adventure. With manageable riding distances, ample stops, and accommodations reached before sunset, you'll have the freedom to savor each moment without feeling rushed. This relaxed format will ensure you have plenty of downtime to get you ready for the next day without over extending yourself.
The terrain that we’ll face along the way is a variety of tar, dirt and sand trails. While some people may be extremely hesitant with sand the Honda CRF is extremely capable in sand and provides you with a motorcycle platform that easily navigates through it.
After testing the CRF earlier this year in the sand, we’re extremely confident that you’ll have no problems tackling and overcoming any hesitation you may have with sand.
In Mozambique, daily riding distances won't exceed 200 kilometers, granting you the chance to soak in the surroundings at your own pace. Plus, with two-night stays at select stops, you'll have the perfect opportunity to relax or venture out for some exploration on your bike.

WHY THE CRF?
Over the years of solely focusing on ‘Adventure bike’ trips, we’ve noticed that riders are also looking for a platform that provides them with a little more ease and more fun for riding. In January this year we tested the CRF up into Namibia and found that due to the light weight platform, this bike is a great way to enjoy an adventure with less risk of dropping as it handles any obstacles in its way with ease.
We found this bike sits comfortably on the highway around 100-110kmh, but can do 120kmh when needed. The power and speeds of this bike allow you to enjoy the view of where you’re riding rather than just blowing past it.
ACCOMMODATION
Guests will have the option to have either private (additional cost) or shared accommodation each night of the trip. There will be no camping for this adventure. Each night you’ll have a bed, shower and great meals so that you can be rested up for the next day.
We’ve chosen the accommodation along the way carefully to give you a great mix of this part of Africa and we know you’ll appreciate each nights choice.
The accommodation options range from boutique hotels, chalets nestled on the edge of a bay as well as a variety of Eco Lodge’s to provide you with a warm, comfortable and peaceful place to kick back and enjoy Mozambique.
MOZAMBIQUE
Mozambique is known for its Portuguese cuisine with a focus on fresh fish. Throughout our time in Mozambique you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy freshly caught fish and prawns served to you in some really incredible locations like none other.
The people of Mozambique are renowned for their warm hospitality and vibrant cultural heritage, creating an inviting atmosphere for visitors. With a rich tapestry of traditions and a deep sense of community, encountering the locals offers a glimpse into the soul of this diverse nation. Whether sharing a meal with a local family or dancing to the rhythm of traditional music, the warmth and friendliness of Mozambicans leave a lasting impression on all who visit.
ACTIVITIES
Along the picturesque coastline of Mozambique, you’ll have the opportunity to indulge in a myriad of water sports, including snorkeling amidst vibrant coral reefs and surfing some pristine waves at the famous Tofino Surf break or in Ponta Do Oura.
This time of year is also when the whales begin their migration. It’s highly probable that from Tofino you’ll be able to see the whales passing by just a few hundred meters from shore.
For those seeking relaxation, serene beachfront retreats offer idyllic settings for sunbathing and enjoying refreshing cocktails while soaking in the ocean views. Additionally, cultural excursions to coastal villages provide opportunities to immerse in the local way of life, sampling fresh seafood delicacies and experiencing traditional Mozambican hospitality.
